What does it mean to be a real, loyal kabbalist? First of all, a kabbalist is a spiritual traveler who devotes his/her life to studying the profound truths of Kabbalah and passing them to other people. Even though it takes years of studying original Kabbalah sources; various religions, which adopted kabbalistic doctrines; philosophy and sciences to truly realize that kabbalistic knowledge is present in every aspect of our lives, many beginning kabbalists find enlightenment in this Jewish wisdom on early stages of their paths.
Kabbalah teaches that there are four main activities that every kabbalist rabbi should engage in for that matter. They are believing in what your learn God; wishing hard, or deeply focusing on your intention; practicing acquired knowledge; and enjoying the achieved results.
It also teaches that when one has to make a choice one should always choose from positive, unselfish options. This way the person can subdue the self-centered source, which is always present in every human, and get rid of self-harming emotions.
