In the gradual development of our society and humanity we learn that the influence of various celestial bodies on our lives and future is as apparent as the influence of gravity on a falling body. Kabbalah adherents recognize these influences and believe that our destiny is in the planets. Planets have their own vibrations and energy that affects people’s lives.
However, if one believes that our destiny is in the planets, one may also think that there is nothing that depends on people and everything is already predetermined by the celestial powers. Some people misinterpret celestial influences as the laws due to which people become mindless creatures that have no right to decide for themselves. However, it is not true because as any influence, planets simply define the trend, but it is up to the individual to decide if he or she wants to follow that path. According to Kabbalah, we can even choose which planets to follow and determine as our celestial mentors. Therefore, even though our destiny is in the planets, our choice is up to us.
